I had the pleasure of organizing a special team away day for VisitBrighton. With the team's busy schedule, it's rare for everyone to gather in one place, so they saw this as a fantastic opportunity to bring everyone together for a day of wellness and connection.
Discover Brighton's Countryside
The chosen location was Stanmer Park, a tranquil haven just a short distance from the city center. It was the perfect setting for a yoga session amidst the towering trees and serene surroundings.
Yoga in the Forest
Leading the team into the forest, I arranged a circle of yoga mats, inviting everyone to leave their worries behind and immerse themselves in the present moment. Practicing yoga outdoors was a new and invigorating experience for most of the team. The gentle rustle of leaves and the soft sunlight filtering through the branches created an atmosphere of calm and tranquility, allowing everyone to truly connect with nature.
A Stroll Through the Woodlands
After the yoga session, we took a stroll through the forest, taking in the sights and sounds of the natural world around us. I shared my knowledge of the local flora, pointing out different trees and plants along the way.
By the end of the day, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunity to facilitate such a meaningful experience for the VisitBrighton team. It was a very lovely experience for me to meet the team, and I am very lucky to get a blog post.
